Restless and curious, gentle yet rebellious, calm yet determined—I came into this world with the most wonderful gift: an endless imagination, my ethereal wings.
I have been writing since I was thirteen. While my teacher gave lessons at Humboldt School in Caracas, I would sit absorbed, gazing out the window at the breathtaking view of the city. Inspired by that beautiful landscape, I would escape into a world of my own—one I created with words and images. I still live there. Despite the passing of time, within me remains the same girl reaching for a star through a journey of letters.
I was born in Lima, Peru, to a Swiss father and a Peruvian mother. I moved to Venezuela at the age of nine. I have spent most of my life in my corner between sea and sky, in the beautiful city of Miami. Surrounded by blue and the songs of birds, I celebrate life in this peaceful garden where my dreams now bloom.
Between sunrises and sunsets, I have written nine novels, more than one hundred short stories, and countless poems. I also have an extensive collection of paintings in the naïve style.
My greatest treasure is my family. They inspire me every day, and each creation is an offering of love.
